This policy explains what information New Markets Capital Advisors (“NMCA,” “we,” “us”) collects through this website, by phone, and by text message, how we use it, and the choices you have.
Information we collect
What you send us. When you use the contact form, we receive your name, email address, and project description. When you submit a project through the NMTC eligibility checker, we receive the project address, your email address, any note you include, and the tract result the checker produced. When you call, email, or text us, we receive your phone number or email address and the content of your message.
Eligibility lookups you don’t submit. When you check an address without sending it to us, the address is used to find its census tract and return a result. We do not add unsubmitted addresses to our lead records. We keep only aggregate counts of lookups by state, county, and result.
Technical information. Like any website, our hosting provider and the services that deliver the map on the eligibility checker receive standard request information such as your IP address, browser type, and the pages or map areas requested. This site does not use advertising trackers or analytics tools, and it does not set cookies.
How we use it
We use the information you provide to respond to you, evaluate whether a project may be a fit for New Markets Tax Credit financing, and communicate with you about that project or an engagement. We do not sell personal information, and we do not use it for advertising.
Text messaging
We send texts from (312) 767-1453 only after you provide your mobile number directly and explicitly agree during a phone call to receive texts from New Markets Capital Advisors. If you text us first, we call you to request the same permission before sending an outgoing text. We keep a dated note of your answer and do not text you if you decline or do not clearly agree. Messages are limited to scheduling, logistics, and basic information about your inquiry. Message frequency varies. Message and data rates may apply. Mobile information is not shared. Customer data is not shared with third parties for promotional or marketing purposes. Mobile opt-in data and consent are never shared with anyone for any purpose. Any information sharing described elsewhere in this policy excludes mobile opt-in data.
Who else receives information
We use service providers to host the website, receive form submissions, store inquiry records, geocode addresses, display maps, and deliver calls and text messages. They process information for us under their own terms and privacy policies. When you engage NMCA on a transaction, we share project information with other parties to that transaction, such as community development entities, investors, lenders, and counsel, as the engagement requires. We may also disclose information when the law requires it.
We use reasonable administrative, technical, and physical safeguards to prevent unauthorized access, use, or disclosure of personal information, and we limit access to New Markets Capital Advisors and the service providers that process it on our behalf, only as necessary to provide our services.
How long we keep it
We keep inquiry records only as long as we need them to evaluate and respond to the inquiry. Information about an engagement is kept for as long as the engagement and applicable record-keeping obligations require. You can ask us to delete your information at any time by emailing info@newmarketscapitaladvisors.com.
Your choices
You can ask us what information we hold about you, ask us to correct it, or ask us to delete it by emailing info@newmarketscapitaladvisors.com. You can stop text messages at any time by replying STOP.
Children
This site is intended for businesses and organizations. It is not directed to children under 13, and we do not knowingly collect their information.
Messaging terms and conditions
1. Program. The New Markets Capital Advisors messaging program consists of informational, general conversational messaging with clients and prospective clients about their projects, including scheduling, project follow-up, and engagement logistics. We do not send marketing or promotional messages.
Message types. You will receive scheduling messages, such as proposed call times and confirmations. You will receive project follow-up messages, such as notices that documents or updates have been sent. You will receive engagement logistics messages, such as meeting links. You will not receive marketing or promotional messages.
2. Opting out. You can cancel the SMS service at any time. Text STOP or CANCEL to (312) 767-1453. We will send one message confirming that you have been unsubscribed, and you will receive no further messages. To opt in again, tell us and we will confirm your consent.
3. Help. Reply HELP for assistance, or email info@newmarketscapitaladvisors.com.
4. Carriers. Carriers are not liable for delayed or undelivered messages.
5. Rates and frequency. Message and data rates may apply for messages sent to you from us and to us from you. Message frequency varies based on communication needs. For questions about your text or data plan, contact your wireless provider.
